When you sign up, you have to fulfill an offer, which can be anything from signing up for an eBay account to buying a satellite TV package, whatever you choose. When you complete the offer, the site pays 360elite4free.com some cash for the advertising. 360elite4free.com in turn gives you some cash back in the form of an XBox.
This is where the pyramid scheme comes in: To get the free XBox mailed to you, you must find a number of people to sign up using your referral link. 360elite4free.com is hoping you forget about signing up or can't find anyone to complete an offer with your referral link because then they get to keep all the money.
I know this sounds like a load of bull, but I have played Halo 3 on my friend's free XBox 360 Elite far too many times for this to be fake. The trick is finding somewhere to post your referral link. I've tried plenty of places, but never one that pays off. You can try eBay, but they have started to ban users who do it. I'm hoping this works out.
