- People wanted to know some basic concepts of the Heaven vs Hell, so i'll post you a thread i made in a developers forum:

- Hmm... I have looked recently at the Faction we have atm and i was not pleased with what i saw :S, i hope everyone can fogive me if i re-write that thing with a lot of differences lol.....(reason i say this is because for example the faction should not EVER require a server owner to disable their event engines, it would be crazy cause factions would love to fight each other like crazy!.... also enable certain armor restrictions, so only 1 faction can where some armor, and vice versa. Factions should not be So heavily hard coded so that once you enable it it completely changes the gameplay. Reason i say this now is because i will soon start the Heaven vs Hell System on my server, Factions will be Heaven, Hell. To participate in this faction you must be lvl 80+ with noblesse (which btw on my server is like retail, so its tough). Hell will have hell items, that heaven will not be allowed to wear, and heaven will have heaven items hell will not be allowed to wear. Heaven will also have skills, and Hell will have skills that are only given to heaven or hell players. There will be mobs that are in a "faction"... Heaven Mobs, and Hell Mobs. Hell mobs and heaven mobs if placed near each other will fight one another. The heaven mobs and hell mobs will have healers, mobs that can heal players from the same faction OR mobs from the same faction.
- Here's the Catch:
- This is what i'm going to do on my servers java, I will not share the customizations, but i will share the code so anyone can set it up like me, so basically, i will share the java, but i will not share the NPC id's or the custom quest (i am still thinking about this Smiley), simply i will allow the admin to do this:
