It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that the original forums that we all loved and enjoyed are now gone.

 

All is not lost, however.  Your home is still here!  We will NOT go away.  Furtopia is still home to a fantastic group of caring individuals that will continue to survive and grow.  We are currently in the process of building newer and better forums.  We will also do our best to import the old database/messages (though members will, of course, need to reset their passwords).

 

We would like to put rumors to rest as we give cause to this situation.  After all, the Furtopia forums have been home to many furs for many years; a community built upon the following primary tenants: fun, friendship, and respect.

 

 

Dear Members,

 

After working for days we have a start at bringing the Furtopia forums back on line!  There is still a lot of work to do and bugs to fix. But I think we can start letting members back into the forums. I'm a VERY tired dog and have been working morning till late night each day.  I also have to thank my entire mod and staff team who have been supporting me and a big thanks to Nocte for starting the port of the Ikonboard skin.

 

Keep in mind that many things are not working and are still being fixed (example, you must clear cookies before you can log out). This has been a painful road but we are working to build a better forum.

 

 

Most of the user accounts and messages have remained intact (I'm guessing 75-80%). Do to the fact that passwords were stolen (and posted on line for considerable time) we have scrambled ALL the member passwords so they must be reset. To get a new password for your account you can click on "Login" then "Forgot your password?" to change it.  You can also just go to this link: http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?action=reminder to reset it.
